Personal Data Of 16.80 Cr People In The Hands Of Cyber Criminals

Hyderabad, March 23 (Maxim News)  Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Stephen Ravindra revealed the sensational things that have come out in the case of theft of personal data of crores of people across the country.

Speaking to press persons, Stephen Ravindra said that the gang members from Nagpur, Mumbai, and Delhi have stolen the personal data and gas data of crores of people in the country, the police have found.  It was found that the accused called the public and kept calling and texting the public for not paying the bill.  So far 16 crore people across the country have found that their personal data has been stolen.  In this, it was found that the data of women was also stolen. 

He revealed that the data of nearly 4 lakh people who had applied for insurance and loans in various companies and banks had been stolen.  Moreover, it was concluded that sensitive data of defense and army employees were also stolen.  It has been found that the personal data, IDs, and passwords of 7 lakh users of Facebook and Twitter have been stolen by cybercriminals,  It was found that the data of 16.80 crore people in the country was sold by the accused to cyber criminals. 

Data belonging to SBI and Bank of Baroda were also found to have been stolen.  Moreover, the data of IT employees were also stolen.  A total of 9 people were arrested in this case.  (Maxim News)
