P&G To Manufacture 3-Ply Face Masks At Its Telangana Unit
In an effort to help the country fight against Covid-19, FMCG multinational, Procter & Gamble (P&G), under its response programme, is planning to soon manufacture three-ply face masks at its facility located in Penjerla Village (near Hyderabad), Kothur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District of Telangana.
The company, which has already begun production of hand sanitisers in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, having manufactured the first batch already, will make face masks and hand sanitisers for frontline workers and its employees to protect their health and safety. The company will also donate 1.5 million masks in support of the government and relief organisations who are on the front line of the pandemic in India.
