Smashing the collections of her first production film ‘NH10’, actress Anushka Sharma’s second venture ‘Phillauri’ has collected Rs. 4.02 crore on day one.
According to a statement released by Fox Studios India, the collections of ‘Phillauri’ are higher than ‘Kahaani’ (Rs. 3 crore in Kolkata), ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (Rs. 3.2 crore in Kanpur), ‘NH10’ (Rs. 3.35 crore in Gurgaon) and ‘Sarbjit’ (Rs. 3.69 crore in Tarn Taran – Punjab). All these movies had an actress as the central protagonist.
