Phone Tapping Case: 7 Days Police Custody For Radhakrishna Rao

Hyderabad, April 3 (Maxim News): Another important development has taken place in connection with the phone tapping case which is creating a sensation in Telangana. The Nampally court on Wednesday issued an order allowing former Hyderabad Task Force DCp Radhakishan Rao to be in police custody for 7 days from tomorrow till the 10th of this month.  Panjagutta police will take him into custody and interrogate him.

He was included as A4 in the phone tapping case.  Radhakishan Rao disclosed in the investigation that he had seized Rs. 70 lakh from Bhavya Cement owner Anand Prasad on the offers of former SIB Chief Prabhakar Rao.  

During the Dubbaka by-election, Raghunandan Rao and his relatives were admitted.  During the previous by-election of Munugode, it was explained that Rs. 3.50 crore belonging to the present minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy was confiscated.  In the remand report, the police stated that in 2016, a special team was formed with officers belonging to a certain group.  (Maxim News)
