Piyush Goyal Launches Turmeric Board In Nizamabad
Nizamabad/Hyderabad, Jan 14 (Maxim News): The long-cherished wish of the farmers of Nizamabad district has been fulfilled. The National Turmeric Board has been set up in Nizamabad.

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal launched it virtually through video conference from Delhi. MP Dharmapuri Arvind participated in the program.
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Modi announced in the Mahabubnagar SWabha on October 1, 2023, during the last assembly election campaign, that a Turmeric Board would be set up in Nizamabad. After that, the Union Commerce Ministry issued a gazette notification on October 4. However, it did not mention where the head office of the board would be set up in Nizamabad.

It appointed Palle Gangareddy, a BJP leader from Ankapur village in Armoor mandal of Nizamabad district, as its Chairman. (Maxim News)
