Padi Kaushik Reddy Issues Apology Over Remarks, Seeks End To Controversy
Karimnagar/Hyderabad, Jan 14 (Maxim News): BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy got relief. He was granted bail. Karimnagar police came to Hyderabad on Monday evening and arrested Kaushik Reddy and took him away.
He was produced before the Second Additional Junior Civil Judge Premalatha in Karimnagar on Tuesday morning and was granted conditional bail in three cases. He was ordered to submit a surety of Rs. 2 lakh by Thursday. He said that he would appear for the hearing when called by the police. Kaushik Reddy told the court that he would not make such comments again.
It may be recalled that during the review meeting held by ministers at the Karimnagar Collectorate on Sunday, a heated argument broke out between Kaushik Reddy and Jagtial MLA Sanjay, and the meeting turned into a heated one. After receiving complaints about these developments, three cases were registered against Kaushik Reddy at the Karimnagar First Town Police Station.
Kaushik Reddy spoke to the media while being taken to the judge from Karimnagar Third Town Police Station. He said that he would continue to question the Congress party until it implements the promises made to the people. He made it clear that there was no question of leaving the party. (Maxim News)
