Noida/Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): Union Minister Piyush Goyal today inaugurated the India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) Conference 2025 in Noida, delivering an inspiring message to the youth. Addressing hundreds of students and emerging leaders, the Minister called on India’s young generation to take the lead in building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Panch Pran’ (Five Pledges) vision for Amrit Kaal.
“You Are the Architects of India’s Future”
Shri Goyal emphasized that India is on the verge of a historic transformation, with the 25-year period of Amrit Kaal offering an unmatched opportunity to shape the nation’s destiny before its 100th year of independence in 2047
“The youth are the primary drivers of this transformation. The dream of a developed India can only be achieved if each one of you steps forward with purpose and resolve,” he said.
Breaking Down the Five Pledges (Panch Pran)
The Minister outlined the five pledges that every Indian must uphold:
- Making India a Developed Nation – The core commitment that defines Amrit Kaal.
- Shedding Colonial Mindset – Encouraging youth to aim beyond limitations inherited from colonial history and aspire for global excellence.
- Taking Pride in India’s Heritage – Embracing cultural roots and uniting tradition with progress. “Vikas bhi, virasat bhi,” he stated.
- Unity and National Integrity – Recognizing diversity as strength and fostering a unified national identity.
- Duty of Every Citizen – Reaffirming that 1.4 billion Indians must work as one to achieve collective progress that is inclusive and sustainable.
Nation-Building as a Privilege and Responsibility
Encouraging the audience to embrace public service and social responsibility, Shri Goyal said:
“We must not only chase personal success but also strive for societal upliftment. Nation-building is not a chore—it is a privilege.”
He also emphasized the importance of mentors and teachers, stating that their guidance often lays the foundation for future leadership and character.
Call to Youth: Join Public Life, Become Change-Makers
Shri Goyal echoed PM Modi’s 2024 Independence Day call for 1 lakh young Indians to enter politics and public service, encouraging the youth to become the changemakers and visionaries of tomorrow.
“There is a pressing need for capable, compassionate youth in public policy. Your dedication can transform India,” he added.
The event concluded with a strong message: India’s destiny lies in the hands of its youth, and with unity, heritage, and determination, Viksit Bharat 2047 is not a dream, but a mission in motion.
