PM Modi Launches BSNL’s Indigenous 4G Network

Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 27 (Maxim News) Prime Minister Modi today launched BSNL’s indigenous 4G network. 4G services will be provided with telecom equipment manufactured with indigenous knowledge. Modi launched the indigenous 4G services in the backdrop of BSNL’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.

He inaugurated 97,500 mobile 4G towers of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Out of this, there are 92,600 4G technology sites. Modi said that with BSNL’s indigenous 4G… the indigenous spirit will be strengthened. About 22 million Indians will be connected through 92 thousand sites

This will be a key milestone in the domestic telecom sector. Prime Minister Modi opened BSNL 4G towers at a function held in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

BSNL towers have been set up in the states of Odisha, AP, UP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Assam, Gujarat and Bihar. He laid the foundation stone for development works worth about 60 thousand crores in Odisha. (Maxim News)
