New Delhi, Sept. 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared glimpses of his interaction with passengers during a Delhi Metro ride.
Modi had travelled by Metro on Saturday while heading to Delhi University to address students at Shri Ram College of Commerce.
The Prime Minister boarded a coach around 7 pm and travelled for about 20 minutes towards Vishwavidyalaya Metro station.
During the journey, Modi interacted with schoolchildren and women passengers. He asked students about their hobbies, interests and aspirations.

One schoolboy told Modi that he wanted to become like him. Another student spoke about Teachers’Day and described the Prime Minister as an inspiration.
Modi also wished an infant passenger an advance happy birthday as the child was set to turn one soon.
A woman from Varanasi also spoke to Modi about the city’s development. She said residents were happy with the transformation taking place in Kashi.
Visuals shared on social media showed Modi using a Metro travel card before entering the station. He then boarded the Yellow Line towards Vishwavidyalaya.
This was not Modi’s first Delhi Metro journey. He has travelled by the Metro several times for public events and official programmes.
In 2023, Modi travelled by Metro to Delhi University during its centenary celebrations. He also used the Metro in 2015 to attend the inauguration of the Faridabad extension line.
In February 2026, Modi travelled by the Meerut Metro and alighted at Meerut South Station.
