PM Modi Spoke To President Of Iran Over Phone

Delhi/Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Iranian President on Sunday afternoon over the phone.  They discussed the tensions between Israel and Iran and the current situation in Iran.  Prime Minister Modi revealed this through his Twitter account.

“We discussed the current situation in Iran in detail.  I expressed deep concern over the recent escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran.  I suggested that both countries should make efforts to de-escalate the situation.

What PM Modi Said

I advised them to move forward through dialogue and diplomatic channels to restore peace, security, and stability in both countries as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, tensions between Israel and Iran are increasing. Today, the United States also entered the war on behalf of Israel, adding fuel to the fire. However, Iran has expressed its anger over the US’s direct attack on it. It has warned that the US, which is attacking them, will have to pay a heavy price.
