New Delhi, Sept. 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a five-day visit to the United States from September 22-26, foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla announced on Monday.
Giving a broad itinerary of the visit, Shringla said the Prime Minister will meet US President Joe Biden for bilateral talks
on September 24.
“The meeting will also feature current regional security situation following developments in Afghanistan. We would
discuss the need to stem radicalisation, extremism, crossborder terrorism & dismantling of global terror networks,” he said during a media briefing.
He said that Modi will also meet US Vice President Kamal Harris for their first formal interaction.
Shringla said that PM Modi will participate in the Covid-19 Global Summit hosted by US President Biden on September
22.
