- Modi promises strict action and justice for victims of Delhi blast
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the recent blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed several lives and left many injured. Speaking during his official visit to Bhutan on Tuesday, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and anger over the terror attack, assuring that those responsible will not be spared.
“The attack at the Red Fort in Delhi has shaken me. We will not spare the accused in the attack under any circumstances. The investigating agencies are investigating the incident intensively. We will root out the roots of the terror conspiracy. There is no question of sparing the conspirators responsible for this. We will find those who took the lives of innocent people and bring them to justice. I express my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the blast. May the injured recover quickly,” the Prime Minister said.

Modi stated that he is closely monitoring developments related to the incident and reviewing updates from security and intelligence agencies. He said the government stands firm against terrorism and will act decisively to dismantle every link behind such inhuman acts. His remarks came a day after the deadly explosion that rocked central Delhi and set off a massive security response across the capital region.
The Prime Minister’s comments reflect the government’s determination to take comprehensive action following the blast, which investigators suspect was part of a wider terror network. Multiple security agencies are probing the case under the supervision of the Union Home Ministry, with reinforced security measures placed across Delhi.
While paying his respects to the victims, Modi extended his prayers for the speedy recovery of those injured. He reaffirmed India’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism and vowed that the perpetrators and those supporting them would be brought to justice without delay.
