PM Modi welcomes deepening of bilateral partnership with South Korea
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed the deepening of bilateral partnership with South Korea not only in trade and economic spheres, but also in new areas like defence cooperation.
The Prime Minister said he is committed to working with President Moon Jae-in for further enhancement of bilateral relationship, and looked forward to an early opportunity to meet President Moon. Mr Modi’s observation came during the call on by Mr Dongchea Chung, Special Envoy of Mr Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea.
The Prime Minister conveyed his appreciation for President Moon’s gesture of sending Mr Chung as his Special Envoy to India.
