Police Strong WARNING To YouTubers Promoting Betting Apps
Hyderabad, Mar 18 (Maxim News): Cases registered against celebrities and YouTube influencers in Telugu states have become a sensation. Hyderabad Panjagutta police registered a case yesterday (Monday) for promoting betting apps. Criminal cases have been filed against a total of 11 people, including Vishnupriya, Supreeta, Imran Khan (Parshan Boys), Harsha Sai, Ritu Chaudhary and Tasty Teja. Meanwhile, West Zone DCP Vijay Kumar recently held a media conference and revealed sensational facts.
On this occasion, the DCP said, “We have registered a case based on a complaint filed by a citizen against betting apps. We have filed criminal cases against a total of 11 influencers. We are checking the social media accounts of the accused. We are examining which apps they promoted and what kind of videos they posted. We will first collect evidence and then take further action against them. All of them are giving hope to the unemployed youth that they can earn a lot of money through betting apps. No one should promote illegal betting apps.”
A YouTuber named Imran Khan is making dirty videos without value. He is also using young children for his videos. We have increased surveillance on people like Imran. If anyone promotes betting apps in a way that misleads the youth and plays with the lives of innocent people, we will take strict action.
We have arrested the accused in the theft case at the residence of BJP MP DK Aruna. We have identified the thief as a Delhi resident. We are currently interrogating him. The accused has committed thefts in more than 30 houses in Delhi. This is the first attempted theft in Hyderabad. He went to steal it without knowing that it was DK Aruna’s house. He thought that since it was a big house, he would get more cash and attempted the theft,” he said. (Maxim News)
