Ponnam Lashes Out At Union Budget Sans Reliefs

Hyderabad, July 5 (Maxim News): TPCC Vice President Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday said the Telangana State didn’t get any benefit in the Union budget.

Reacting on the issue, Ponnam also said the budget also lacked clarity on several issues while noting that no concrete allocations were made to the Telangana State. He also said the poor people didn’t get anything in the budget. In a statement, he said there was no mention of creation of two crore jobs promised by the BJP-led NDA government, in the Budget.

He also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had assured the nation to bring black money from abroad, was now planning to hand over all the public properties to the big industrialists in the country. He asked the Centre as to how it would mobilize Rs 100 lakh crore for the provision of basic infrastructure in the country.

He also ridiculed that there was no mention of the mode to disburse loans to the youth in just 59 minutes. He mocked the PM Modi, who had promised to reduce fuel prices, increased them again by a rupee. There was also no mention of relief to farmers in the country in the budget, he added. (Maxim News)
