Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today announced that assistance under Kalyana Laxmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes for the marriage of girls above 18 years from SC, ST, minorities and other poorer sections of the society would be increased from Rs 75,116 to Rs 1,00,116.
Making a statement in the State Assembly, the Chief Minister said the two schemes meant to help poor SC, ST and minorities families at the time of the marriage of daughters was close to his heart.
