According to Cyberabad Police, the unrest began when a DCM truck carrying animal skeletons was intercepted by a group of individuals near Wambay Colony, located on the RGI Airport Cargo Road–Mailardevpally stretch. The mob attacked the vehicle’s driver and set the truck ablaze after allegedly dousing it with fuel. Another DCM vehicle was also torched, and several others were damaged in the ensuing chaos.

Police Intervention and Clashes

Upon receiving information, local police rushed to the spot and attempted to control the situation. However, they were met with resistance as miscreants pelted stones, resulting in injuries to multiple policemen. Law enforcement responded with a lathi charge to disperse the crowd.

Fire tenders from Chandrayangutta and Rajendranagar fire stations were deployed to douse the flames and prevent further damage.
