The central minister said it is in the hands of state governments to decide whether to go for imposing lockdown or to choose containment zones in districts apart from setting 144 sections and launching night curfew. He has hoped that situation will be better in the coming days.
Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said the central government is not favouring imposing a lockdown. G Kishan Reddy said the state governments have their discrete powers to set the lockdown in their states. G Kishan Reddy said there are ten states which pose a threat to its population due to coronavirus.
