Chief Secretary SK Joshi Thursday directed officials to prepare a roadmap to improve agricultural productivity and strengthen seed sector in the State.
He urged the Agriculture Department officials to set goals for the next five years and prepare plans taking into consideration total agricultural land, production, and productivity. “Plans should be chalked out crop-wise and village-wise, which will help in easy monitoring and assessment,” he said.
