Prof. Kodandaram And Amer Ali Khan As MLCs Under Governor’s Quota
Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has taken a key decision on two vacant MLC seats in the Governor’s quota in Telangana and appointed Telangana Jana Samithi Party president Professor Kodandaram and Mir Amer Ali Khan as MLCs. The governor approved the proposals of Revanth Sarkar.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka met Governor Tamilisai at Raja Bhavan, yesterday (Wednesday), and discussed with the Governor the appointment of two vacant MLC posts in the Governor’s quota as well as the appointment of TSPSC Chairman. It is reported that the Chief Minister has suggested the names of Prof Kodandaram and Muslim Journalist Amir Ali Khan for the post of MLC.
The governor, who had earlier said that she would exercise on the two MLC seats in the Governor quota only after the verdict of the Telangana High Court, announced the next day after the meeting, it was a surprise.

Meanwhile, there is a discussion in state politics that Prof. Kodandaram will get a place in Ravanth’s cabinet. Political analysts think that Revanth Sarkar has planned for the post of MLC to make him a minister. It seems that this decision was taken after Prof. Kodandaram declared his full support for the victory of the Congress party during the elections. (Hydnow)
