Guwahati/Hyderabad, Mar 31 (Maxim News): It is known that the assembly elections will be held in Assam on April 9. In this context, the BJP has announced its election manifesto. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, BJP state president Dilip Saikia and others released the manifesto at an event held in the capital Guwahati on Tuesday. In this manifesto, titled Sankalpa Patra, it has promised the people to send Bangladeshis from the state and also on the UCC Act.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that if elected for the third time, Bangladeshis will be expelled from the state under the Assam Act 1950. He announced that those who came illegally from Bangladesh will be sent away within 24 hours along with the district authorities. He said that not even an inch of land will be given to them from Assam. He promised to implement the UCC (Uniform Civil Code) in Assam and stop love jihad and land jihad. Rabey said that the roots of Bangladeshi immigrants will be damaged in five years. The key points of the manifesto are. Making Assam a flood-free state in five years. Allocation of Rs. 18,000 crore for flood prevention in the first two years. Tribal areas will be excluded as per the Sixth Schedule regarding UCC.

Special focus on maintaining law and order. Two lakh government jobs in five years. The current Rs. 1,250 provided to women under the Arunoday scheme will be increased to Rs. 3,000. Free education will also be provided in the state. Daily wage for workers working in tea gardens will be increased to Rs. 500. Rs. 5 lakh crore will be allocated for the transport sector. Rs. 25,000 financial assistance to women under the Chief Minister’s Women’s Movement Scheme. One medical college, one university and one engineering college will be established in each district under the One District, One Institution model. (Maxim News)
