Veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini on Friday said she is proud to be part of the transition going on in India.
“I am proud to be a Member of Parliament, representing my party which is doing wonderful work and thanks to our Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, we are seeing a great transformation in our country. I’m proud to be part of this transition,” Hema, who represents the Mathura constituency, said here.
Widely known as Bollywood’s ‘Dreamgirl’, the 68-year-old — with a sari-clad look defying her age — Hema became emotional as she was about to honour winners at the India Today Summit and Awards.
