Raghunandan Rao Made Sensational Comments; May To Quit BJP!
In an unexpected development, internal tensions within the Telangana BJP have taken center stage as party leaders struggle to maintain unity. Among those causing a stir is Dubbaka MLA Raghunandan Rao, who recently voiced his dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership.
Raghunandan Rao, currently in Delhi, issued a bold demand for greater recognition within the party, stating, “Having dedicated a decade to the party’s cause, why am I not considered for a more significant role? I believe I am deserving of a post such as party president, floor leader, or national spokesperson.”
Further expressing his discontent, Raghunandan Rao suggested that his caste may be a hindrance to his political aspirations within the BJP, and hinted at significant changes in the party’s complexion in the forthcoming months.
This will mark Raghunandan Rao’s second term as an MLA from Dubbaka, a feat he claims to have achieved with minimal support from his party peers. He said, “No one assisted me during the elections, yet I have proven my worth to the party.”
He pointed out that despite the party investing an estimated 100 crores in the Munugodu elections, victory remained elusive. He opined that if the same resources were granted to him, he could have generated significant progress in Telangana.
Raghunandan Rao, who gained recognition in Dubbaka, claimed to have won the trust of his constituents, arguing they believed in him as a political figure capable of challenging KCR’s authority.
He also attributed the joining of Eatala Rajendar to the BJP to his electoral success, implying that his victory influenced Rajendar’s decision.
