Rahul Gandhi to take part in Dalit Dandora program
Hyderabad, Aug.4 (Maxim News): Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi will take part in the Dalita dandora program being organized by the State unit of the party. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief President A. Revanth Reddy has said that Rahul agreed to take part in the program personally in the first week of September. He said that they would hold a discussion with the party leaders to fix up a date and venue of the participation of Rahul in the dandora program. He said that the party would hold a day long program for Rahul in the State.
He made these remarks during a TPCC review meeting on the issue of the selection of the party candidate for the upcoming by-elections in Huzurabad Assembly constituency. The election Co-ordination Committee Chairman Damodar Raja Narasimha , TPCC working president T. Jagga Reddy , G. Chinna reddy and the important leaders from Karimnagar took part in the meeting. The leaders discussed about the probable candidate for the by-elections.
Speaking on the occasion Revanth said that all programs of the party would be held with a collective decision of the party leaders. He called upon the party leaders and workers to work unitedly in the field to strengthen it. Citing that a committee has been constituted by the party to take up different works , he said that all the party leaders should obey the leaders of the committee . He alleged that CM KCR had gained political benefits by making some leaders of the congress party as his coverts in recent times and added that all the party leaders had witnessed the acts of the coverts. He said that all the party leaders should work responsibly and be on alert all the time.
Revanth said that the party would launch the Dalita and Girijana dandora program at Indravelli of Adilabad district on August 9. He said that the party would hold a ten day program from August 11 to 21. In five Mmandals, two Municipalities of the district. He said that they would hold rallies as part of the program and asked the party leaders to bring ten percent of the voters of every Mandal to the rallies. (Maxim News)
