Railway System In Telugu States Chacotic: 432 Trains Canceled, 139 Diverted

Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): The Railway system in Telugu states is chaotic. Due to heavy rains for four days, the Railway tracks were washed away in some places. In some places, water is standing on the railway tracks. In other places, water is flowing on the railway tracks. Due to this, train traffic in Telugu states was almost stopped.  due to the rain effect, the South Central Railway Department has canceled 432 train services so far. Another 139 train services were diverted and 13 more trains were partially cancelled. Due to heavy rains and floods, some areas of the railway track have been washed away. The South Central Railway has said that the trains have been canceled due to the safety of the passengers.

It said that the repair work of the railway track affected by the accident is still going on. Officials have estimated that the works related to Mahabubabad Kesamudram Tracks are going on. There is a possibility that one track will be completed on this route by tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain along with senior officers are staying there and supervising the works.

Details of important canceled trains are Lingampally – Narsapur, Nanded – Visakhapatnam, Kachiguda-Miryalaguda, Chennai Central – Chapra, Chennai-New Delhi, Secunderabad-Vijayawada, Secunderabad-Guntur, Lingampally-Kakinada, machilipatnam- Bidar.

The important trains that have been diverted are Barakpur-Kochivali, Adilabad-Tirupati, Banaras-Kanyakumari, New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram, New Delhi-Chennai, Indore-kachivali, Balharshah-kazipet-Secunderabad, Guntakal-Renigunta will go on regular route.  (Maxim News)
