Rain Continues In Many Districts: Torrential Showers In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 19 (Maxim News)  Rain is falling in many districts of the state under the influence of low pressure.  Light rains have been falling in Hyderabad since night.  It is raining in Jinnaram, Dandepalli, and Lexettipet of Jagtyala district.  It is raining in the Adilabad district center as well as in Nirmal town and many villages of the district. 

Huzurabad, Saidapur, Shankarapatnam, Tiummapur, Manakondur, and Gunneruvaram of Karimnagar district have been receiving continuous rains since night.  While moderate rain fell in Ekaturthi and Kamalapur Mandals of the Hanumakonda district, it rained all over Vemulawada of the Rajanna Sirisilla district.  Light rain is coming in the Mahadev Pura, Kataram, Palimela, and Mahamuttaram Mandals of Bhupalapalli district. 

It has been raining continuously since midnight in the Nizamabad district.  The rivers are overflowing with the rains that have been falling since the night.  due to this, the flow of the Godavari River has increased.  Flood water is entering the Sriram Sagar project.  Currently, the flood flow is 30 thousand cusecs.  The full water level of the project was 1091 feet and now the water is at 1090 feet.  The water capacity of the project is 85.3 TMC out of 90 TMC.  (Maxim News)
