Rain lashes many parts of Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 22 (Maxim News): After a few days of dry weather, rain lashed many parts of Hyderabad and its suburbs affecting normal life on Friday.

Inclement weather prevailed in the city since morning with an overcast sky and rains besides showers at some places.

Commuters particularly school children and office goers had a tough time as many roads were water-logged following the rains.

Meanwhile, the city traffic police appealed to people not to come on the roads soon after the respite from the rain. “There are chances of water logging at many places. The rain is caused water stagnation on roads, resulting in huge traffic jams and hardships to commuters. As it takes some time to recede the rain water on roads, people should avoid coming on to the roads,” the traffic police said.

Meanwhile, the weather office has forecast moderate rains with heavy spells at isolated places in the city during the next 24 hours. (Maxim News)
