Rain Lashes Several Parts Of Hyderabad

Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News): On a sultry mid-summer Tuesday afternoon, a brief spell of rain lashed several parts of the city and outskirts.

The weather, which was hot and humid since morning, changed dramatically for a brief respite when clouds started gathering in the skies around 2 pm. Soon, spells of rain started visiting different parts of the city and the suburbs, while some areas also reported hail. 

The spells were brief, but the rains did force the mercury down by a few notches in several areas.  However, in some parts of the city, it was strange weather with the sun beating down harshly even as it rained around 3 pm. The phenomenon lasted for some time before the rains ceased and bright sunshine returned.

Apart from Hyderabad, isolated rains were also recorded in the districts of Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and Vikarabad. The Indian Meteorological Department in Hyderabad had forecast moderate rain and thunderstorms with surface winds in isolated places in the city and some districts.  (Maxim News)
