Rains In Telangana For Another 5 Days: Orange Alert Issued

Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Telangana for another five days. It has been said that the rains will fall due to the surface circulation of the trough.

On May 15 and 16, light to moderate rains will occur along with heavy rains here and there. Thunderstorms, gusty winds and lightning are likely to occur here and there, The Meteorological Department has issued orange alerts for western and several southern districts due to the impact of gusty winds and rains today. It has been revealed that the yellow alert will continue for all other districts.

Orange alert for Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts. Gusty winds of 50 to 60 km per hour are likely i this district. Gusty winds of 40 to 50 km per hour and 30 to 40 km per hour are likely in other districts. The maximum temperatures are likely to be recorded by three to four degrees lower for the next five days. An orange alert has been issued as gusty winds are likely to blow in the city today. Light to moderate rain is likely to fall in the city.

Hyderabad was hit by heavy rains this morning (May 15), Normal life was brought to a standstill due to the two-hour downpour. All the roads were flooded due to the sudden downpour. As it was time to go to the offices, there was a huge traffic jam and people were in great trouble. (Maxim News)
