Hyderabad, Sept 28 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has announced that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Telangana for the next two days. It said that there are indications of thunder, lightning and gusty winds.
The weather department said that the air mass formed over West Vidarbha and surrounding areas has moved almost towards the west and weakened into a low pressure area.
The surface depression has extended up to 7.6 km above mean sea level and is inclined upwards towards the southwest. It has been said that it will weaken in the next 24 hours.
It has been said that it is likely to move westwards over Central Maharashtra, South Gujarat and Saurashtra from Sunday to Tuesday and form a low pressure area over the northeast Arabian Sea along the Gujarat coast by October 1.
A surface depression is likely to form in the North Andaman Sea on September 30. Due to its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form in the North and Central Bay of Bengal on October 1, the Hyderabad Meteorological Center said. (Maxim News)
