He also said that if the suspension is not lifted, he will stay away from politics and work for Hindu Dharma.  He praised the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and said Chandrababu is the reason for the development of Telangana which has not happened with the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He said that there are chances of Chandrababu winning again in the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.  He said that Chandrababu means a lot of respect to him, as Chandrababu gave him life politically, having respect is different.  Politics is different.  I want the TDP government to come in Andhra Pradesh.  Only BJP suits my mentality, said Raja Singh.

It may be recalled that Raja Singh contested the 2009 GHMC elections on behalf of TDP and won as a corporator.  Later, he joined the BJP and contested the 2014 assembly from Goshamahal constituency and won.  Raja Singh won from the same seat in 2018 as well.  But when Raja Singh went to jail due to his comments against a group, he was suspended by the BJP leadership.  As the party still had not taken a decision on lifting the suspension, there was a strong campaign that he was ready to join the TDP.  Recently, when Raja Singh said that he was not joining TDP, the rumours came to a full stop.  (Maxim News)
