Raja Singh is a virus infecting Goshamahal: Sameer Waliullah
Hyderabad, February 1: Hyderabad District Congress Committee (DCC) President Mohammed Waliulalh Sameer strongly condemned BJP MLA T. Raja Singh for attempting to stall the construction of the new Osmania General Hospital (OGH), accusing him of obstructing the development of Goshamahal with his anti-progress stance.
Slamming Raja Singh for spreading baseless fears about infectious diseases and hospital mortuaries, Sameer Waliullah said the BJP MLA himself is the biggest infection that has plagued Gosha Mahal for years. “His presence in the constituency is a curse for the people of Gosha Mahal. He has done absolutely nothing for the development of the area and has systematically blocked every opportunity for progress,” he said in a media statement on Saturday.
The Congress leader pointed out that under Raja Singh’s tenure, not a single major project has been allowed to come up in Gosha Mahal. “He has failed to bring better roads, schools, hospitals, or welfare programs to the constituency. Now, when the government is working to build a modern, world-class hospital, he is once again playing politics and misleading the people with unfounded fears,” he said.
Accusing Raja Singh of deliberate fear-mongering, Sameer Waliullah said, “He is talking about infections spreading from the hospital, but in reality, he himself is the virus that has infected Gosha Mahal. If there is any real threat to the progress and well-being of this constituency, it is Raja Singh. The people of Gosha Mahal must rid themselves of this virus if they want real development.”
The Hyderabad DCC chief reminded that the Congress government, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, is committed to building a state-of-the-art Osmania General Hospital that will serve the healthcare needs of thousands. “The people of Hyderabad and Gosha Mahal deserve better healthcare facilities, and we will not let one regressive leader stand in the way of progress,” he asserted.
He called upon the residents of Gosha Mahal to reject Raja Singh’s divisive and anti-development politics and support the Congress government’s vision for a modern, developed Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
