Raja Singh Urges Revanth Reddy to Share Measures to Prevent Cow Slaughter in Telangana
Hyderabad, June 18 (Maxim News): BJP MLA Raja Singh has expressed his gratitude to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the government’s recent decision to establish new cow shelters across the state. Welcoming the move, Singh said it was a positive step towards protecting cows, but urged the Chief Minister to go further in curbing illegal cow slaughter.
Raja Singh alleged that thousands of cows, calves, and bulls continue to be slaughtered unlawfully in various slaughterhouses. Highlighting the gravity of the issue, he requested Revanth Reddy to provide details of the specific measures being implemented to prevent such illegal activities.
Describing the government’s decision to set up model cow shelters as commendable, Singh proposed the creation of a dedicated police force for cow protection. He also volunteered to serve as a member of such a task force. “If someone asks who is the real chief minister in the country who serves cows, your name will come second only to Yogi Adityanath,” Singh remarked, addressing Revanth Reddy.
Singh further appealed for a complete ban on cow slaughter in Telangana, emphasizing that such initiatives would earn the Chief Minister greater recognition at the national level. (Maxim News)
