Ramanna Launched Pulse Polio Programme In Adilabad
Formally launching the second phase of Pulse Polio Programme at a government school in Mavala village in Adilabad Rural mandal on Sunday, Forest and Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna advised parents to ensure that children below 5 years of age are administered polio drops.
In Adilabad town, municipal chairperson R Maneesha, Joint Collector K Krishna Reddy and District Health and Medical Officer Dr B Rajiv Raj administered the polio drops in Khurshidnagar. Officials concerned said that over 90 per cent of the target was achieved on Sunday and the remaining children would be covered in special drives to be held on Monday and Tuesday.
