Hyderabad, June 21 (Maxim News): BJP Telangana President N. Ramchander Rao wrote an open letter today (Sunday). He mentioned several key points in this letter. He requested an appointment with Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi to submit a memorandum on unfulfilled Congress guarantees. If the Congress leadership fails to respond and provide an appointment, it will be a grave betrayal by Congress to Telangana and the people here. He said that the people of Telangana have put their trust in Congress based on the promises and guarantees given personally by Congress top leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi during the 2023 Assembly elections. He questioned why the Congress government in Telangana has not fulfilled many key promises made to women, farmers, students, youth, elderly, agricultural workers and poor families even after two and a half years of formation.
Disappointment for poor families..
Ramchandra Rao said that women are still waiting for the financial assistance they expected to receive of Rs. 2,500 per month. He also said that the breadwinners are still waiting for Rs. 15,000 per acre under the Rythubharosa scheme. He said that tenant farmers, farm laborers, and poor families waiting for Indiramma houses are also facing disappointment. Referring to the difficulties faced by students and youth, he questioned why the assistance of Rs. 5 lakh promised under the Vidya Bharosa scheme has not yet materialized. He said that students are facing difficulties in getting fee reimbursement. He said that they are still waiting for the unemployment allowance of Rs. 4,000 per month that Rahul Gandhi had repeatedly promised to the unemployed.
Please give me an appointment as soon as possible.
Moreover, Ramchandra Rao said that the elderly are still waiting for a monthly pension of Rs. 4,000. He questioned why despite the promise of increasing financial assistance to single women and the disabled, it has not yet been implemented. He said that girls going to colleges are also still waiting for the free scooters that were promised to them. He said that the unemployed youth are waiting for a job calendar and employment opportunities. He flagged that the Congress has failed miserably in implementing the guarantees given. He said that there is growing dissatisfaction and disappointment among people from various sections of Telangana due to the promises made by the Congress. Ramchandra Rao requested Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to give him an appointment as soon as possible to take the concerns and problems of the people of Telangana directly to the attention of Rahul Gandhi.
