Rangoli competition at SJM on Jan. 11

Hyderabad, Jan 3 (Maxim News): Salar Jung Museum is holding a rangoli competition on January 11 for women as part of the Museum Week celebrations from January 8 to 14.

There will be three groups of competition, respectively for children between the ages of eight and twelve, of 13 and 20 and for women over 20 years of age. Only traditional rangolis with dots and lines/landscapes on motifs are allowed and participants should bring their own material, Dr. J. Kadareswari, Curator said on Tuesday. Competition will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

General public will be offered 50 per cent concession on ticket fee during the week, she added. (Maxim News)
