Ravindra Naik sore with Congress for fielding defected leaders in LS polls

Hyderabad, March 18 (Maxim News): Congress leader Ravindra Naik today alleged that his party high command has fielded parachuted leaders of other parties for the upcoming parliament elections in the State. He also alleged that several sincere leaders of the party had faced injustice in the recent list of Lok Sabha candidates.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Ravindra Naik warned the party high command that it would suffer a lot in the State if it did not change its attitude. He also said the ruling TRS party was already causing a lot of damage to the Congress in the State and there was an urgent need for the party high command to take immediate steps to protect the party in the State. Noting that the party was strong in two Telugu States, Naik alleged that the State leaders sabotaged his chances of getting a ticket.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Naik alleged that the TRS president failed to fulfill even a single assurance given to the people during his five-year term. He demanded that the Chief Minister explain as to why he was encouraging defections despite having enough numbers. He made it clear that it was not possible for KCR to remove Congress from the political scene of Telangana. He also bragged that he could defeat even TRS supremo from Nalgonda if he was fielded from there as the constituency has four lakh tribal votes. (Maxim News)
