Re 1 Last Rites Scheme Launched In Karimnagar

Hyderabad, June 16 (Maxim News): Karimnagar Mayor Sardar Ravinder Singh on Sunday launched Re 1 last rites scheme in Karimnagar town. He took part in the procession of one Manchala Lalitha belonging to Bhavaninagar of the town. He handed over receipt pertaining to the scheme to the husband of the deceased.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Ravinder Singh said he was prompted to launch the scheme after coming across some people, who were saving Rs 100 from their monthly pension for their last rites. He said the scheme was launched to help the poor people in the district. He also said it would be good if the scheme was launched across the State. (Maxim News)
