Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy got relief from the state High Court. The court exempted Revanth Reddy from personal appearance for the hearing of the case in the Nampally Excise Court. The High Court has made it clear that Revanth Reddy, who is busy as the CM, will not be able to attend the court for every adjournment.
CM Revanth Reddy had previously made comments that he would remove reservations if the BJP comes to power. A hearing was held in the Excise Court on the CM’s comments. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy approached the High Court seeking quashing. The State High Court adjourned the hearing to June 12.
Meanwhile, on May 4, CM Revanth Reddy participated in the parliamentary election campaign inKothagudem. During this time, he made sensational comments against the BJP government. He said that the BJP government would abolish SC, ST and BC reservations. BJP Telangana General Secretary kasam Venkateswarlu approached the court over Revanth’s comments.
However, the case was postponed four times in the trial court. Due to this, kasam Venkateswarlu brought it to the attention of the High Court. Justice B. Vijay Sen Reddy dismissed the petition and ordered the special court in Nampally to examine the complaint and do justice. (Maxim News)
