Revanth dares KTR to file criminal cases, says ready to prove charges

Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): TPCC working president A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday came down heavily at the State government for not reacting on the injustice meted out to the Intermediate students in the State. He alleged that the State government officials played with the lives of the students by awarding wrong marks to them. He also lamented that none of the ruling party leaders and minister concerned reacted on the issue so far despite the fact that the entire State was witnessing bandhs and siege to the Board of Intermediate Education every day. He indirectly attacked the TRS working president KT Rama Rao for calling a senior Congress leader as a baffoon.

Speaking to media persons here, Revanth Reddy said such cheap remarks against Opposition leaders were atrocious. Alleging that no action has been taken in EAMCET paper leakage case even after three years of the scam, Revanth said the two prime accused in the EAMCET paper leakage case Ravat and Kamlesh were found dead under suspicious circumstances. He wanted to know from the State government as to why it didn’t take any action against the Magnetic Infotech firm, which belonged to KTR’s father-in-law for committing the EAMCET scam. He also wanted to know from the government as to why it did not give the contract to the government-owned CGG, which has been offering services to the State government since the last 20 years.

He alleged that an official of the IT department headed by KTR had got the contract awarded to the Globarena in 2017. He made it clear that the three-member committee set up by the State government had blamed the Globarena company for all the irregularities committed in the declaration of the Inter results, but no case was registered against Globarena company as it might lead to the arrest of the brother-in-law of KTR and his friends.

Daring KTR to go to court against them with a defamation case, Revanth said he would prove all the irregularities committed by the two firms and caused the deaths of so many students. He asked whether a single MLA of the ruling TRS visited the family members of the students, who have committed suicide and consoled them. He demanded that the government file criminal cases against all those responsible for the scam besides paying an ex gratia of Rs 25 lakh. (Maxim News)
