Revanth Demanded A Detailed Inquiry Into the Construction Of Power Projects And Purchase Of Electricity
Khammam/Hyderabad, Feb 10 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MP, Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao is looting thousands of crores of rupees in the name of construction of power projects in Telangana state. He demanded a detailed inquiry into the construction of power projects and the purchase of electricity.
Speaking to media persons, here today, he said that KCR is destroying the power sector with his thirst for money. It is alleged that the biggest scam in Telangana was done in the name of the construction of power projects. He alleged that KCR was looting thousands of crores through Prabhakar Rao, Raghuma Rao, and Gopala Rao.
Revanth Reddy appealed to the Telangana people asking them not to pay even a single rupee of ACD charges. Let’s all fight together. Let’s bend KCR’s necks. He promised to abolish ACD charges when Congress comes to power. He said that the power crisis occurred in the state due to KCR’s failure.
He criticized that the KCR government is engaging in exploitation like no other government in the state. He said that he would call for protests across the state under the leadership of Congress.
He said that once Congress comes to power, they will conduct an investigation into the electricity scam committed by Prabhakara Rao, Raghuram Rao, and Gopala Rao. He also warned that family members of the KCR and Ministers K.Tarakarama Rao, Harish Rao, Kavitha Rao, and Santhosh Rao who were involved in this scam will be punished. (Maxim News)
