Hyderabad, July 22 (Maxim News): MRPS founding president Manda Krishna Madiga has strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for allegedly deceiving pensioners across Telangana.
Speaking at the district conference of disabled and dependent pensioners organized by the Disabled Rights Struggle Committee in Amanagallu, Rangareddy district, Manda Krishna accused the state government of failing to fulfill its election promises.
He alleged that the CM had promised to provide ₹6,000 as pension to the disabled and ₹4,000 as support pension to others immediately after assuming power, but even after 19 months, the assurance remains unfulfilled.
“Rs. 20,000 crore has been diverted so far, out of the ₹1,000 crore per month that should rightfully go to pensioners,” Manda Krishna claimed.
He called upon all pensioners to join the massive public meeting titled ‘Pensioners’ Garjana’, to be held in Hyderabad on August 13, demanding justice and accountability from the state government. (Maxim News)
