Ugadi Budget and Welfare Initiatives

Drawing a comparison between the budget and the flavors of Ugadi chutney, Revanth Reddy highlighted the government’s focus on agriculture, education, employment, and welfare.

“In the budget, we have prioritized agricultural development and education for the underprivileged. Funds have been allocated for health, jobs, and social welfare. The previous Congress government introduced the Food Security Act to eliminate hunger, and now, we are launching a scheme to provide free rice to the poor on Ugadi,” he said.

He also noted Telangana’s leadership in rice production and announced that fine-quality grains grown by farmers would be distributed to the needy.

“Our government’s policy is to increase income, especially for the poor. This is not a time for politics but for development. We have a clear vision and strong determination. Through the Telangana Rising-2050 plan, we will make the state a model for the entire country,” he added.
