Stop Work On Gachibowli Lands Until Tomorrow: High Court

Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court has issued key orders on the Kanche Gachibowli land dispute, which has become a hot topic in the state.

It has ordered the government to stop the work undertaken on the gachibowli lands till tomorrow (April 3, 2025), later, the next hearing of this petition was adjourned to Wednesday (April 3). Meanwhile, it is known that the dispute is going on regarding 400 acres in Kanche Gachibowli.

The university students say that this land is ours, but the government is not. The government is flattening these lands as part of development work.

This has led to large-scale agitation by university students, opposition parties, and student unions. In this context, the Vata Foundation has approached the Telangana High Court over the fence land dispute.

A petition has been filed in the High Court to protect the environment by ensuring that the forest wealth in Gachibowli lands is not destroyed.

The High Court, which heard this petition on Wednesday (April 2), issued key orders to the government.

It ordered that no trees be cut or any work be done in the Kanche Gachibowli lands until tomorrow (April 3). Later, the next hearing of this petition was adjourned to Wednesday (April 3), With this, there was suspense over the court’s decision. (Maxim News)
