Revanth Reddy’s Warning To Senior Officials For Showing Negligence In Implementing Govt Schemes 

Hyderabad, Oct 18 (Maxim News):  Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,  has sternly warned all Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and Heads of Departments not to show negligence in implementing government schemes and developmental programs. He made it clear that any laxity in executing government initiatives will not be tolerated.

Expressing dissatisfaction, the Chief Minister said that even though the People’s Government has completed two years in power, there has been no noticeable change in the functioning of some officials. He urged them to shed their indifference immediately and not to make independent decisions that could bring disrepute to the government. Instead, he emphasized that all departments must work in coordination to prioritize decisions and programs that benefit the public. 

The Chief Minister held a special meeting on Saturday morning at his residence with the CMO secretaries and Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao. He instructed officials to work more proactively to ensure that government programs reach the people effectively. He directed the Chief Secretary to regularly collect reports from all departmental secretaries and review the progress of works. CMO officials were also instructed to promptly bring to his notice any matters requiring government action.

He warned that there should be no delays in file movement or project execution at any level. The Chief Minister further instructed all departmental secretaries to immediately initiate action to secure pending grants and funds from the Centre under various centrally sponsored schemes. He advised giving priority to paying the State’s share wherever necessary to facilitate the release of Central funds. CM Revanth Reddy concluded by stating that, going forward, both the Chief Secretary and CMO officials must submit weekly reports on their respective departments, and he himself will personally review the progress of those reports.
