Revanth Sarkar | Hyderabad, Sept 19 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, through Minister for SC, ST, and Minority Welfare, Adluri Laxman Kumar, has unveiled two significant welfare schemes aimed at empowering minority communities in the state.
The announcement reflects the government’s commitment to social upliftment and economic support for marginalized sections.
The first initiative, Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana, provides ₹50,000 financial assistance to widows, divorcees, orphans, and unmarried women.
The funds are intended to help beneficiaries establish small businesses and achieve financial independence.

The second scheme, titled “Revanthanna Ka Sahara – For the Miskeens”, targets Fakir and Dudekula communities, providing mopeds along with a grant of ₹1 lakh.
The initiative aims to improve mobility and income-generating opportunities for economically weaker minority groups.
The Telangana government has allocated a total of ₹30 crore to support both schemes, highlighting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s commitment to inclusive growth and minority welfare.
Minister Laxman Kumar emphasized that these schemes will “create sustainable economic opportunities and uplift marginalized communities.”
Officials noted that the registration process is designed to be simple and accessible, ensuring maximum participation from eligible beneficiaries across the state.
The Telangana government’s focus on minority welfare through targeted financial and mobility support is expected to strengthen social equity and encourage entrepreneurship among women and economically disadvantaged groups.
