Revanth Visits Koheda Fruit Market

Hyderabad, May 5 (Maxim News): Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy visited koheda fruit market and inspected temporary shed that collapsed and injured 26 people after a windstorm.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the farmers had sustained huge amount of losses due to the sudden shifting of the market yard to Koheda without making any arrangements. He made it clear that the state ministers should take the responsibility for the losses sustained by the farmers. He demanded the government to provide free treatment to all the injured besides paying compensation to them. A farmer wept before the MP and told him that they didn’t even have drinking water to drink at the market yard. Revanth immediately responded on the issue and spoke to Rachakonda CP and local RDO on the issue .

He asked the officials to book a criminal case against the contractor of the market yard . The MP also arranged tents and drinking water for the farmers on the occasion. Former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy and former MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy and party leaders accompanied the MP during the visit. (Maxim News)
