Rs.1,89,98,800 Cash Seized In Hyderabad In The Last 24 Hours

Hyderabad, May 01: Various enforcement teams formed in the district as part of the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct seized one crore 89 lakh 98 thousand 800/- in cash, 4 crore 32 lakh 25 thousand rupees during the last 24 hours from 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday. District Election Officer, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that 4,797.33 liters of liquor.

On this occasion, 14 complaints regarding cash and other items were received and resolved. He said that 8 FIRs have been registered.

The DEO said that since the publication of the election notification, a total of Rs 21,57,05,505/- in cash and Rs 13,76,21,269/- worth of goods have been seized by various enforcement teams, 261 cases have been registered and 258 people have been arrested.

5 Crore 71 Lakh 58 Thousand 955 rupees and other items worth Rs.74,17,908/- have been seized in the district so far by the Flying Squad Teams, other Police Authority/ IT Enforcement Teams have seized Rs 15 Crore 59 Lakh 58 Thousand cash, 12 Crore 25 Lakhs He explained that other items worth Rs.03 thousand 362, SST teams seized Rs.25,88,550/- cash and other items worth Rs.77 lakh.

So far 551 complaints about cash and other items have been received and resolved. He said that an FIR has been registered against 354 people. District Election Officer GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose stated that 3068 licensed firearms were deposited.
