RSS Seeks Strict Action In Ram Mandir Donation Controversy

Internet, July 3: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday expressed concern over the alleged theft of donations from the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and called for strict action against those found responsible.

RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale issued a statement from New Delhi, saying the incident had deeply hurt the sentiments of devotees and stressed the need to strengthen temple management.

Hosabale said those responsible for the alleged misappropriation of donations should face stringent punishment. He also urged the temple authorities to rectify any shortcomings in the administration to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He said the alleged incident had affected the trust of millions of Ram devotees and caused widespread disappointment among members of the Hindu community.

Hosabale further alleged that anti Hindu and anti national forces were attempting to exploit the controversy for political and ideological purposes. He appealed to the public to remain patient and not be influenced by what he described as misleading propaganda.

The RSS leader said the Ram Mandir was built after decades of efforts and sacrifices by countless devotees. He expressed confidence that the temple trust would take appropriate corrective measures to ensure transparency and prevent such incidents from recurring.

Investigations into the alleged donation controversy are continuing, and the authorities have not yet announced the final findings.
