RTC Crew Continue Protests For Not Allowing To Resume Duties

Hyderabad, Nov.27 (Maxim News): The TSRTC workers on Wednesday continued their protests demanding that the management and the State government allow them to resume their duties. They held protest programs before various bus depots in all the districts. Leaders of several trade unions also organized protests demanding that the State government take back the RTC crew.

The CITU activists held a rally in the city in support of the RTC workers demanding that the State government allow the workers to resume their duties. However, the police did not allow the RTC workers to resume their work. The police also made sure that they allow only temporary drivers and conductors after verifying their temporary ID cards. The police also continued to arrest several RTC workers in the districts.

The police raided the RTC employees quarters in Khammam and apprehended five women b, who met to discuss about their future course of action. The workers held protest at the Jubilee Bus Station in Secunderabad. Meanwhile, an RTC conductor from Suryapet district tendered resignation from his post in protest against the attitude of the State government towards the workers. He sent his resignation letter to the Depot manager of Suryapet. The resignation letter has gone viral on social media. (Maxim News)
